へぎ盤

４枚重ねの一番上の盤は、大きくうねり、下になるにつれ徐々にうねりは穏やかになります。これぞ、へぎの重ね皿の醍醐味！と言いたくなる変化の面白さです。４枚とも、テーブルに置いた時に安定するよう、底面を少し削ってあります。仕上げは摺漆（拭き漆）。

※摺漆（すりうるし）…別名拭き漆（ふきうるし）。生漆（きうるし）を材に摺り込んで仕上げる方法。耐水強度は「塗」に準じてあり木目を活かす時に有効で、塗膜を作らない。褐色透明な仕上がり。
