雪屋

雪を冠った、二階建ての木の家のイメージで、オブジェ的な性格の作品。蓋を取ると、内側は黄金の世界。外側は摺漆（拭き漆）に胡粉を重ねた仕上げで、内側は金の箔です。

※摺漆（すりうるし）…別名拭き漆（ふきうるし）。生漆（きうるし）を材に摺り込んで仕上げる方法。耐水強度は「塗」に準じてあり木目を活かす時に有効で、塗膜を作らない。褐色透明な仕上がり。
胡粉…日本画、建築塗装で一般的な白色塗装材を、膠（にかわ）と練り合わせて使う。マットな純白が欲しい時に使用。漆芸技法では得られない白色。
