古陶のような土味や窯変の面白さがありながら、松葉勇輝さんの花器はどこか現代的で端正な佇まいです。小さな穴窯で焼かれ、一点一点表情が違います。

松葉さんの工房がある大阪南部は、かつては須恵器の一大産地だったところ。実家近くの博物館をはじめ身近なところで須恵器に親しんできたそうです。
