側面がシャープな石と透明なガラス、その2つがピタッっと重なる「水底(みなそこ)」。

｢川に行った時、石の上を水が流れる様子を眺めたりします。
その眼下の状況を、上からパンって切り取って持ち帰りたい。
というのが、この作品のイメージにつながっています」と、硅砂組の田上拓さん。

川を流れる水も水面の空気も、持ち帰れない透明なもの。
その透明なものをガラスで表現した作品です。
